Privacy Policy
Effective October 28, 2026. Pause is made by Tai Maor.
Pause doesn't collect any data. There's no account, no advertising, no analytics, no crash reporting and no tracking, and the app makes no connections to servers of ours.
What stays on your devices
Your entries, reasons, daily limit and settings are saved on your iPhone (and Apple Watch, if you use it). The Today widget reads only today's count and your limit from the app. Your device's own iCloud Backup includes this data if you have that turned on.
Your iCloud
When iCloud is on, Pause keeps a copy of your history in your own iCloud account, managed by Apple, so your iPhones and Apple Watch show the same count. We can't see it.
Exporting
Settings › Export history as CSV creates a file only when you ask for it. Where it goes is up to you.
Purchases
If Pause offers optional tips, they're bought through the App Store. Apple handles the payment and your Apple Account; we never see your name, email or payment details.
Deleting your data
Delete entries in History and they're removed on all your devices. Deleting the app removes its data from that device.
Children
Pause is meant for adults and is not directed at children.
Changes
If this policy changes, this page and the date above will be updated. If Pause ever starts collecting anything, the app will say so first.
